Keeping our dog off the lawn has been a challenge as my husband just put down some fertilizer this week. I was unsure just how long to keep Maverick off the lawn and quickly Googled it…”for at least a quarter inch of rain or a good watering, then wait at least 24 hours.” I also noticed at our local park had fertilized. Tiny white pellets was every where and even onto the sidewalk ways. A Dog's Nose Knows

My dog, Bodie and I would walk our local park at least two to three times a day. When it was early in the morning and there were no other people or dogs out, I would let him run off leash. He would run full –tilt but always had time to stop and sniff. He seemed to go to the same “sniff” spots each time. Wondering if his buddies had been there, he smelled another animal or human sent. Fireworks and thunderstorms can bring on high anxiety for your pet. For some pets loud noises do not affect them. This is GREAT! For those of us who’s pets it does effect, there are some things that you can do to help keep them calm. I never had issues with any of my dogs during thunderstorms, however fire works for Bodie-dog was at the top of his fear-list.
